You needn’t worry about your safety one bit as we equip you with the best parachutes and other gears which are maintained to standards set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). After a thorough briefing conducted by a skydiving instructor certified by the authorities, we take you aboard a plane at a drop zone near Margham at a desert camp. We make sure that you are properly prepared for the exhilarating experience of having put on a harness, a helmet, goggles, and of course a jumpsuit.
We soar to a height of 13,000 feet the ideal height to make the jump. Experience a super-exciting free fall of 60 seconds until our instructor pulls the cord to open the parachute. Don’t worry, we also have the Automatic Activation Device (AAD) in place just in case the instructor doesn’t manage to activate the parachute. So, put your worries to rest and sink into the thrill of gliding through the skies above Dubai. We tell you, a 360-degree view of Dubai’s mesmerizing skyline from high up in the skies is truly breathtaking. This is one adventure you’d love to experience all over again.

Skydive Dubai FAQs
The best time of the day to go skydiving in Dubai is by 10 am. It’s when the weather is pleasant and there’s enough light for you to soak in the stunning views of the Dubai skyline. The temperature too is lower at this time of the day.
There are two venues, one within the city and the other in its periphery. The Palm Drop Zone is on the Al Seyahi Street and the Desert Campus Drop Zone is a slight distance away from the heart of Dubai.
Tandem skydiving has the diver hooked to an instructor with a harness. The instructor guides the diver in weight management and the descent.
The skydiving sessions are of 20 to 30 minutes where every minute is absolutely exhilarating. The free fall is of 60 seconds and the rest of the time is for the descent.
You need to be in clothes that are comfortable and allow free limb movement. Here’s a thorough list of appropriate clothes—
- Athletic attire of preferably nylon
- Sneakers or sports shoes
- Skirts, low-cut blouses, sleeveless tops, crop tops and short pants aren’t suitable for skydiving
- Shirts with collars and blouses with tassels are unsafe since they might choke you
- Divers should avoid wearing any jewellery
The divers jump from a height of as high as 13,000 feet. After a free fall of 60 seconds, the decent is of 4-5 minutes when the parachutes are deployed at a height of 6,000 feet.
The timings at the two drop zones are different. The Palm Drop Zone is open from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm while the Desert Zone is open from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
