Overview
Zayed National Museum focuses on the Emirates, its stories, culture, and evolution from the past to the present. Visit the six indoor galleries and the outdoor gallery, Al Masar Garden. Each gallery has its own significance and introduces visitors to the nation’s history. It has a total collection of 3,000 artifacts, out of which only 1,500 objects are on display in the six permanent galleries and exhibition spaces. The main highlight of the museum is the “To Our Ancestors” gallery that displays the archaeological finds of human activity from 300,000 years ago.
There are dedicated learning zones for kids, cultural shows, and workshops for the visitors. Book your tickets to watch the artifacts from the past and learn about Emirati heritage with your family and kids. Every corner of the museum reflects the stories, vision, and values of Sheikh Zayed. The exterior of the building is equally attractive and has been designed by the world-famous Foster and Partners. It features five sturdy steel-wing towers that look like a falcon in flight. Zayed National Museum is truly a worth-visiting cultural attraction in Abu Dhabi.
